[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was to bad to find this beautiful insect dead. I never saw something like that before, that is why I wanted to record it on a picture. Does anyone knows what it is?

Looks like a white grub to me. The scientific name is Scarabaeidae, I think. It's actually a beetle in its larvae stage, and it is the most destructive lawn insect there is. Good thing it's dead, if you ask me!

Nice photograph. The focus, DOF, and color are beautiful.
