Nice and sharp picture, well composed. It is not a bee, indeed, but a Hover-fly (only one pair of wings). A male, because the eyes touch at the top of the head. Females would have slightly smaller eyes.

Another amazing picture from you!!! Yes, as pgmoni said, it is not a bee (hymenoptera), it is a fly (diptera) because that insect has only a pair of wings (instead of 2 pairs for the bee). The picture is, in my opinion, perfect!!! The colors, the crispy details, the blurry background, the pov and the dof make that picture a little "chef-d'oeuvre" (in french). Congratulations and TFS,

buen aumento has logrado aquí. Los detalles, colores y composición son lindos. me gusta sobre todo como has captado el momento de alimentación de esta mosca, como ya te informó Michel. Hay muchas variedades de moscas de este tipo que se alimentan de nectar y se mimetizan pareciendo abejas, para auyentar posibles depredadores.

Hi Gabriel!

This a nice close-up. Sharpness on the insect is very good. The right exposure deliver slendid saturated colors. Composition and blured BG, look great. And the use of the 500D close-up is an excellent choice magnifying even more the insect.
