We are able to see the web only because of the reflection of sunlight on the thread. These thin wires are capable of stopping a bee flying at full speed, or create pendulum out of a fruit. Like in the picture! Lol!

This thread is not only strong but also very elastic. These properties make the material very tough.

The weaving of a web takes up a lot of the spider's resources. Since they need to renew their web regularly, they eat the silk to utilize the protein. Only the main thread of the web is left intact. They usually weave a new web each morning, unless there has been little activity and the web can be easily mended.

Hi gabriel,

This is a funny one. The photo itself is not a great one. The composition is not realy good, the subject is not very attractive,...

But i like it anyway because of it's humorous side. The colors are great too. What i like the most here is the thing in the wire looks like an eye that is looking at us.

Have a nice day.

Martin.

It is an original and beautiful macro. Well seen and well done ! I also appreciate the complementary note... Congratulations Gabriel and thanks for sharing.

Hello Gabriel,
This is a strange subject and well seen. I like the frame and bg and the strange branch too. It's rarely seen a pink bg, well done my friend, I like it a lot.
Cheers,
Ersin

Zeca

The colors are great too.
