What an amazing photo. The stunning color of the lake is just breath taking. I've never seen such a rich colored lake. Your POV and composition are beautiful, such good idea to use the rock as lead in lines. The BG with the beautifully shaped rock and white beach is perfect. Added to my fav's

The red colour of water over-powers me in this landscape image, Christophe. Those rocks in it give the composition a special look and appeal and the blue sky on the horizon juxtaposes the colours in a beautiful way.

This is an excellent picture. I love the colors and the composition is very good. Lovely POV and great DOF. I can see some jpeg compression artefacts but those are not in the original file of course. :)

A great photo. The amazing colour is of course it's best asset, but also the foreground interest and the symmetry of the mountain in the background. My only criticism is the uneven darkness in the sky. This is perhaps caused by the polarising filter.

This is fantastic!
I think I have never seen an image of this lagoon with the water so red.
I guess the polarizer eliminated the reflection and made this so striking.

Stunning color and reflection. I am glad you explained why the water is red because otherwise I would have thought it may have been "artisticly" redone on photoshop. The place does feel unearthly.

It is lovely!
My first thought was a lake contaminated by mercury compounds, but you noted it was reddened by rhodophyta which relieved my mind considerably.
In addition, I like the way you masked the scene with a black rectangle to get the multi-coloured thin line.

This is a classic landscape composition Christophe.

Beautifully executed and that f16 aperture has kept everything pin sharp.

magnifique photo !
Le filtre polarisant ajoute une impression surréaliste. Et j'aime beaucoup la composition avec les pierres au premier plan, le reflet, les quelques flamands que l'on devine, le volcan et le ciel limpide.
L'endroit est de toute façon magnifique !
