In the final nymphal instar, the Cicadas construct an exit tunnel to the surface and emerge. On a nearby plant, they moult one last time and emerge as an adult. When they moult, they shed their skins, and the abandonded skins can often be found left on trees, still clinging to the bark.

Very interesting post, very interesting creature. I listened to its sound. But I think in my country I never heared a sound like this. Ours are a little bit bass, I think. Very nice composition and successful captured shot. Congratulations.

Un excelente POV Gabriel que nos muestra el exoesqueleto con buenos detalles y nitidez.
El ajustado DOF te ha permitido captar un fondo difuso que realza la silueta del mismo.
Tal vez algo más de luz, hubiese brindado un grado de transparencia que resultaría muy interesante.
