Small owl (Family: Stringidae, Species: Speotito would cunicularia) - It lives in the fields. Although to be a owl, also it has diurne life. Quiet flight prevents that its presence is noticed during the hunted ones. The face records of penalties are distinguished that serve as reflecting and amplifying of sound, facilitating the localization of the canine tooth. They are fed mainly of insects, but also of small rodents. They pierce its nests in the soil or use to advantage holes of other animals. It puts three white eggs that are incubados during 30 days (information of the Site Alto Paraiso)

Hello Marcio,
Fine capture of this owl, a species new to me. This is nice and sharp and the lighting is good, but I might have tried to crop this with the owl to the right if the original allowed it.
Good shot anyway!
