Great Egret (Family: Ardeidae, Species: Casmerodius albus) - Length: 91 to 102 cm. Found throughout Brazil, this is the most common representative of its species in the country, inhabiting areas near lakes, rivers, estuaries, swamps, mangroves or ponds. It is present in nearly all parts of the world, in cold as well as hot regions. It migrates long distances in the Americas, traveling from the United States to Colombia and other countries. Its Brazilian names are garça-branca-grande, garça-grande, garça-real, acará, acaratinga, guaratinga and guiratinga.

Excellent pose of this great egret poised to fly.
Great moment caught in perfect exposure on the white feathers. The details are sharp too.
If anything, maybe a tad more space to the right for the bird to fly into.
