Well done with the PP and with the lens. Your selection of this specific photo to do this kind of processing was very discerning. I have seen people attempt this on the wrong photo with dissastarous results.
The composition is great with the trunk framing the owl. The little bit of colour that was left over is nice. Good sharpness and detail captured by the DOF.

Nice photo, the light is very contrasty, leaving half the head in shadow, maybe using the flash to fill in the shadows would have helped?

Hello Paulo, compositionally it's a great shot - lots of impact. Maybe it's a little overprocessed the owl has lost some details. To be honest I normally hate shots that have B&W and colour but I think here it is quite tasteful. Well done.

I am not so sure about taking away the colours from the trunk, but this is a matter of taste.
