This small amphibian (Phrynohyas velunosa) lives hidden during the day in trunks of hollow trees or the leaf bases of palms. It possesss habit nocturnal, it leaves soon in the beginning of the night to look to food and/or partners for reproduction. He is very charismatic for its antropomorphus movements (to seem human being), for the coloring of the body and for it possesss one I sing strident and repetitive that can in the distance be shielded, cheering the nights in the Pantanal. In this period where it was made this photo I had the surprise to see one of these to eat a bat close to a residence, truily fascinating.
