Amazing picture of the beautiful at high range bird. Lowest twig with "cut" leaves is looked very funny. I like superb colours of the image, wonderful colourful smooth BG and, of course, terrific reproduction of all details of the bird and nice composition and cropping of the image. Well done and TFS.

I love everything about it: the colors, the markings, the pose, the sharpness.
You did a great job of catching the iridescence in the blue.
I saw some kind of trogon once in Costa Rica, but was not able to shoot it.
I think it is a really amazing bird.

I wonder how i missed this beauty! This is a superb capture of the Blue headed Troggon taken with excellent POV, DOF, sharpness and details.
We too have Trogons here in Kerala. In our race the head is not blue, but dark Grey or black.Hope smeday I will get a good shot of it to share it with you in TN.:)
