Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris is a strictly South American rodent species. Its range extends throughout most of Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Columbia, south into the Argentinian pampas, and west to the Andes.

that's what I like, the Capivaras in their natural environment, gratifying us with eyes that seem to say: "Hey, don't disturb me". Great composition of the image with the two animals!

Hi Francisco. The CAPIVARA looks like it always about to fall asleep i think its the eye.
You have taken a good view of the pair in the water. with fine detail and natural colours. I see you have a bonus of the small bird. well taken TFS.
