Very nice pose of this birdie. Nice detail of the feathers.

I've seen herons doing that but couldn't catch the moment with my camera. Well done.
Focus was done on the tools opposite the river. The bird is not blur thanks to the very large DOF.
Ideally though the focus should have been done on the bird, and less F stops could have been used to blur a little the distracting background.

Brilliant timing and capture.
