[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Working in the Brazilian Central Amazon in 2002, I spotted quite some parrots. Though most would not sit still long enough to get my SLR camera out of my bag and make a picture.

It was that time that digital cameras did not yet hit the prosumer market... ;-)

Hey Dennis, welcome to TN. I'll bet you've seen some cool animals in your travels. This one is pretty clear. You've got super colour and detail on this guy. The lens gave you a pretty good bokeh. That's pretty good for a film scan (no noise), is it slide?

Hier vond ik deze mooie papegaai, u ziet op foto's staat geen leeftijd, u heeft deze prachtig genomen op de kop en de bek, en zijn oog vertrouwd het zaakje niet, goed gedaan.
Moet mooi zijn dit te kunnen fotograferen in de natuur.
Ik schrijf speciaal in het Nederlands voor u.

Looks like the one that showed up where I live! Beautiful bird. I wore my camera, and I guess I was famous. I heard people say here comes the lady with the camera........ Here i have a small one with a tiny lens in my purse always, the new slr one I got is too fragile for my bag. How lucky to travel when young!
