This is a type of crab, a crustacia animal that is called 'SIRI', here in Brazil.
The photo was taken with 10x optical zoom of the mavica. There is no noise because it was a sunny day.

Great colouration of the crabs body. The hand give an idea of the size of the animal. Did it hurt?

Nice picture, Eduardo, but your frame is too colorfull. Make it simply, it is your picture that count, I think, here on TN. And a bad picture with a great note is more usefull to my eyes than a masterpiece photo with a poor note.

Ohh that must have hurt- a lot! I am terribly nervous about touching those things even the little ones, brings back memories. Thanks for sharing this interesting shot.
