Hi Peter. Well i can say i have never seen a Bare-faced Curassow . Its an unusual looking bird but i must say i like its colours and head feathers. Which you picture shows with fine detail and bright colours. I lke the pose with its head turned to one side. well done TFs.

Hi Peter, what a lovely faced bird which is new for me.
Realy very cute and well fucussed capture. The settings are well managed that the soft lighting enchanced the the details of the plummages.

Hi Neighbor,

Strange how we have been posting at just about the same time. Here it is early in the morning and I imagine it is towards evening for you. I should have let you go first so our birds would be facing one another. The only time I have seen this Curassow was when you posted one previously. A beautiful face with the fine beak and pretty eye. The black feathers are magnificent and you show them in excellent detail. The pose and natural setting are wonderful.

What I like from this South American gallery, is that we can see a lot of unknown but wonderful species often endemic. Also, South America is not so far from Quebec (5-6 hours air travel). So eventually I will be able to observ in nature and photograph those great species you are showing us...

Here you did a great composition and excellent picture of this so interesting bird! You managed perfectly the exposition so we can see very well the subtility of the plumage.
