Hi Peter,

This Crested Screamer is an amazing looking bird! He must make quite a sound to have that name. I love the rear view showing off those wonderful feathers. Nice of him to turn his head so you got a great profile. His feathers are much prettier than his face although the red patch is great. Beautiful colors and excellent details. I'm always thrilled to see a new bird.

Hi Peter. This is a unusual looking bird. With its large feet and stange looking feathers.. It even has a unusual name . Anyway you have taken it with fine detail and natural colours. You have been lucky to have seen so many different birds. well done TFS.

Simply wonderful close-up of this charming bird. Back POV is amazing and feathers of the bird are so funny. You have reflected of all unique features of the charming model perfectly. Hello Peter,

You are showing nicely the bird as you have chosen a rear POV but good eye contat with the bird. The sharp image shows well details of bird's body and plumage. Colors are intense and vivid looking very natural.

Hallo Peter
Here you have that bird again that reminds me of the group Mungo Jerry from yesteryear. I do not know why I always think of them when I see this bird. It must be the feathers on the side of the cheeks that remind me of their overgrown sidewhiskers. The hugely shaped feathers of the bird is very clear and obvious. Well captured from behind. All in focus showing great details. Truly amazing, and a real delight to look at. Perfect exposure and natural background. I just love the that massive paws. Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated.

You are right, it is fun to go back and look through past photos. I like this shot with the bird looking over it's shoulder. You have great detail on the feathers and we still get to see the face and the red around it's eye.

Hello Peter,
You obtained a good photo showing the back of this species and a good approach, is not easy if they are in freedom. On the other hand I recommend to you to correct the place you´re obtaining the photo, because the cataracts, on the Brazilian side are in the Parana state.
