| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Just came back from vacations at Atlantida - a beach in the very south of Brazil. I think this is a kind of hawk (if someone knows the correct species please let me know). He was in a group of trees by a small park. After this shot he kept moving from tree to tree to get away from me (but never too far) - I got a few more pictures of him. This picture was taken @ 4 pm. I cropped it a little. Taken with a Nikon D70 and a Tamron 80-200 mm (will update equipment on the site later). |

Bela foto Robert, bom enquadramento parece um pouco desfocada mas no geral ficou bem legal. Parabéns.
Technically a fairly poor shot, the image is blurred, a wider aperture would have helped you there by making the shutter speed faster. The highlights are burned out, losing detail in the white feathers...a little negative exposure compensation would have sorted that out. The branch on the right is very intrusive, again a larger aperture may have thrown that more out of focus blurring it out of the shot, though as I don't know how close it was to the bird in the first place. Maybe catching him sat in a different place would have been the only way round that.
Sorry, I hope you see this as constructive rather then downright negative. At the very least you have a memory of an interesting bird you saw on holiday.
