Species presented on your photo probably belongs to genus Bocydium, easy to recognize thanks to very characteristic spines on thorax.

This is probab ly the strangest insect I have ever seen ! I love his shape, it's so unusual ! Excellent details, even the littlehairs are sharp. I also like the vivd green colors, the composition and the blurred BG. Very well done !

You have captured such an interesting, unique and weird looking creature! lucky you.. and this guy must have been pretty small.. good eye!

I would really wanna know what this guy is, and its name! If only u had some notes for us.

But the sharpness is incredible here as well as the DOP and color. Very rich green in contrast to the very black black.

i'm guessing its devouring some other insect, and is that another of its kind underneath of the left?

Belíssima cigarrinha, Gerson!!
Uma mini-escultura viva, não é mesmo?
Esta cigarrinha é da família Membracidae, são facilmente reconhecíveis pelo desenvolvimento do pronoto (placa endurecida do protórax (que é o segmento anterior dos três segmentos torácicos dos insetos).

Hi Gerson,
this one really looks strange, somehow it rimeinds me off an ant and yet it has wings. You captured it very well, the details are very sharp and the POV allows a good look at this strang insect. Very nice composition also, the slight diagonal and the wonderful neutral BG work very well.
