Hi Gerson

Great shot, fantastic POV and pose, excellent composition, the details are nice and sharp and the colours are superb. I haven't a clue what it is, I can see what you mean about looking like Ant & a Grasshopper, I will have to check later to see if someone has ID'd it.

TFS Hilary :o)

Bonjour Gerson
Très belle prise de vue avec ce superbe macro, les couleurs douces, l'éclairage, les détails et la composition sont parfaits et le BG est très joli.
superbe cet insecte que je ne connais pas.Bravo et merci et bravo....JP

Hi Gerson,
This is fantastic macro. Colors, sharp and composition are beautiful.

Great work
Alex

Hola Gerson,
Great DoF, very sharp and neat image. Nicely composed, great asymmetric compo. To my eyes, it is more look like an ant than a grasshopper, baby grasshopper already has wings, even they are not fully developed yet.
Superb shot.

Superbe,très nette,bien lumineuse ,extra. Thomas

Olá Gerson,
linda foto, cores boas e detalhes muito bons, I don't know myself if that is an Ant or a Grasshoper, looks like a mixture of both, perhaps you have missed out the mating between them ;-)
TFS,
Nelson

Hello Gerson,
Most impressive antennas on that little guy!
Never seen anything like this, probably something specific for South America...
Great colours and details, very well done on the macrfo work!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hola Gerson:

Gracias y saludos... Ricardo

Very unusual insect Gerson, although personally for the form of the back paws I would say that it is a strange ant. Excellent compo, with beautiful POV, accurate DOF, color and good illumination.
I love the elected framing.
Thank you and regards... Ricardo

Hi Gerson,
No question it's a grasshopper of the Ensifera suborder. The features that tell me that are so long antennae and the two cerci on the tip of abdomen.
Best greetings,
Michal

Exellent close up, sharpness,DOF and details. Wonderful.
TFS Gerson.

Hi!
Just a few words characterizing grasshoper (or other Orthoptera). Please look at the last pair of legs - they are adapted for jumping! None ant species can do it ;) So - as cedryk wrote before - this is a member of Orthoptera order.
Anyway, very nice photo of an amazing creature!
Best regards,
Radomir
