[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This small fly have aprox 5mm. This scene is unknown to me: a fly eat an other insect. To me the moist utility of fly is the decomposition of organics materials, but now...
( The small quality of image is a consequence of camera adjust with excessive sensibility. This shot is the first experience with my new lens. In posterior shots I aply an other sensibility with ameliorate result.)

bella macro. Complimenti ciao gigicacco

Hi Gerson,
a nice macro-shot. The details on the fly is good, but the picture looks a bit strange like you used the blur-tool.
Good action, nice colours and good POV.
Well done.

Superbe comme d' habitude,je m' y essaie aussi, quelques photos d' abeilles,et je verrais par vos critiques si j' évolue dans le bon sens.Amicalement Thomas

Hi Gerson, excellent macro-shot of this fly with a lot of details and splendid colors too. I am not sure that the guy is eating another fly, it's a baby fly and the mother is kissing it!!! Good job and best regards, Didier.

This is a good Macro-picture with good detail on the fly. The picture shows a lot of 'sharpening' in illuminance-noise and 'white-edge'-sharpening-consequences. Maybe it would be advisable to use Neat-Image for this result or use a dedicated Macro-lens. Anyhow it's a beautifull picture with a very special moment. My compliments and greetings Arjuna...

Hello Gerson,
This looks like some species of predatory fly eating an aphid. This close-up macro is clear, well-composed and interesting.
TFS, regards, Ivan

Hi Gerson,
This is interesting to view. I am not an entomologist, so I will not give my comment on this unusual eating behavior of the fly. There are some blurry spots on the fly, but in general, this is still a nice shot.

JC

Good portrait friend but abit noise. You can remove it by Surface Blur.

DT.

Hi Gerson,
Again an absolutely amazing macro from you. (I noticed that you always use the same speed and aperture). Cruel world, I would prefer the interpretation of ddq!
Best regards

This is a strange behavior that I never saw before. I think that, despite the problem you mentioned, this picture is very interesting and you caught a great moment. Those colors are really impressive and we can see nice details in a good composition. Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Gerson

Another very impressive macro work from you!
The magnification and details are really nice and the colors are lovely!
As some of the other ones mentined, the DOF really worked interestingly, making the fly clear..but nothing else :) Anyway this way it stand out really well :))
Excellent POV and composition, too.

bonjour gerson
la couleur vive du fond fait bien ressortir la mouche et sa proie,je trouve toutefois que vous avez peu etre accentué de trop.
