Hi Elio,
This certainly is an unusual looking insect.
I'm not sure if it is actually a mosquito,but it has some amazing colours and patterns.
I hope you can find out what it is because it looks very interesting.

A fine macro of some species of true fly taken with good sharpness despite the low light.

Interesting picture of a very colorful fly. The focus is a bit soft on the fly itself, but the water drops add to the charm and make it an effective image.
It is indeed a true fly, in the family Sciomyzidae, aka Marsh Flies. See
