This is *wonderful*. WOW. The depth of field is perfect, the moment frozen with such clarity...And the background colors bring out the bird's iridescent plumage. Did you do any post-processing to this, or was the background perfect as-is? It just a breathtaking shot.

Absolutely beautiful Livio. Wow! The irridescance of the feathers on this species is gorgeous, both green and blue. The orange also adds even more wonderful colors to the full spectrum of the entire image. I love it dude! I hope your doing great. Your friend Paul. :)

This is a great shot Livio! I have seen some recently but I never managed to photograph them, they are so fast! I'm always impressed by people who managed to catch them... This may be the best hummingbird picture I have ever seen. Those wings are amazing - you froze them perfectly. The colors, face and eye are magnificent. Beautiful flowers and a superb background. A fantastic composition.

I like so much the high shutter speed used to froze the bird's flight, and the clear/sharp details got on its iridiscent feathers.
It looks great the mix of colours of the flowers+bird's feathers.

Hallo Livio
Trek Nature is a new adventure to me and find it difficult to pull myself away from the computer screen. There are just so many talented photographers on the site and they all have such spectacular portfolios. I came across this lovely “Another hummingbird” in your gallery, and although it is not one of your most recent postings decided to give my smiley to this photo. I tried to photograph this kind of bird on a few occasions but with no luck. They have such a lot of oomph and just don’t sit still. The blue and green metallic colours on this one of yours is striking and blends in well with the flower. You have some splendid images in your gallery and I particularly like the vibrant bird photos. One can see you’re a master with the lens. Thanks for sharing.
