As a former professor of anatomy, I was taken by this fish carcass lying on the beach at Buzios...before the gulls and vultures took it.
The colors of the oxidized intestines and the "missing" liver provide a surrealistic image of what this wide but dead-eyed creature could never ever itself have imagined ..like, perhaps, most of us...who, shame on us, should know better! |
