The day before yesterday I’ve placed a photo of this bird in front.
The Chestnut-bellied Euphonia (Euphonia pectoralis) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes. (Wikipedia)
11.5 cm. Male has chestnut belly and vent; yellow patches under wings. Female greenish; chestnut vent.
Voice: a loud, metallic shri, shri, shri; chew-lew; a harsh warble, sometimes with repeated imitations. (All the birds of Brazil – Souza)

Hi peter. This shows the side view of so well. I like the yellow on the top off its wing. he has bright blue feathers which you haave captured so well with your sharp focusing. well done TFS.

Hi Peter,

These Brazilian birds are just beautiful. The blues and yellow are perfect. Wonderful details and great eye contact. The background is superb.I love the pose.
