Nutria (Myocastor coypus)...

Almost at nightfall I found this Myocastor coypus in the highway in the very close place where I photographed the Jibóia . Myocastor was walking very calm for the highway and it allowed to shot me several pictures.

Un lindo retrato nocturno de este coipo, parece algo sorprendido por tu actividad.
Aqui se las llaman nutrias porque los españoles cuando llegaron las confundieron!? por sus hábitos con las nutrias europeas (carnivora, mustelidae). Hoy se han introducido en América del Norete y europa y curiosamente allí las llaman nutrias como en español, pero sin saber esta historia.
