Tarantula
Cientific name: Vitalius sp.
Family: Theraphosidae
Habitat: Forests
Geographic distribution: Southeast and Center-west of Brazil
Caracteristics: Its body is divided into two parts: cephalo-thorax and its abdomen has 4 pairs of paws.
Hatch: 1 to 5 months
Number of eggs: 170 to 200
Feeding: Small animals (insects/anphibians/rodents)
Curiosities: It changes its skins on growing
When adult after feeding, it can fast some months
When young, in growing phase, it eats almost incessantly, only stopping when around 10 days before its skin changes, 5 or 7 days after such change.
Warn: Though not poisonous, its bite causes intense pain

Hello Marcus, nice shot. The POV is very good on the same level as the subject. It's a little overexposed but it's still a very good shot, well done.

Deveria ter pego com os dedos e colocado em um lugar limpo para dar mais destaque... He... He... (sorte eu não estar por perto... quem dá o palpite é que deve fazer...)
Pode não ser perigosa mas o tamanho assusta...!!!

A great shot, probably a bit to oe, but nothing serious.
I held one of these a couple of years ago, they can't run apparently, although that's what I was told at the time!
