Aranha de jardim.
As Aranhas são animais artrópodes pertencentes à ordem Araneae da classe dos aracnídeos. A ordem Araneae está dividida em três subordens: a Mygalomorphae (aranhas primitivas), a Araneomorphae (aranhas modernas) e a Mesothelae, a qual contém apenas a Família Liphistiidae, constituída de aranhas asiáticas raramente avistadas.
Existem cerca de 40.000 espécies de aranhas, o que a torna a segunda maior ordem dos Aracnídeos (atrás somente da ordem Acari). As aranhas distinguem-se dos insetos pelas seguintes características:

têm quatro pares de pernas;
não possuem asas ou antenas;
seu corpo divide-se em duas partes (cefalotorax e abdomem);
produzem uma seda ou teia.
Origem da palavra aranha: Foi o vocábulo grego aráchneque deu origem à palavra aranha e ao termo aracnídeo, que designa a classe à qual pertencem esses pequenos animais.
As teias de uma aranha são 5 vezes mais fortes do que o aço no mesmo diâmetro. - Além disso a teia pode ainda se esticar 4 vezes mais que seu comprimento inicial. - As teias resistem a água e a temperaturas até -45ºC sem se romperem. - A aranha poderia morrer presa em sua própria teia, mais sua pata é equipada com pêlos que não permitem que isso aconteça. - Embora existam 35.000 espécies de aranhas, alguns estudiosos calculam até 100.000 espécies de aranhas. - Essas 35.000 espécies são divididas em mais de 100 famílias, sendo que apenas 20 á 30 espécies são consideráveis perigosas para o homem.

What a sunny and bright yellow flower. Details of both the flower and the spider are splendid. It looks as if that spider is holding on for dear life. Such a beautiful portrait with the flower nearly fitting the whole frame. Lovely presentation with super sharpness, focus and splendid detail. Great depth of field. A splendid piece of work, presented in a most delightful manner. It was a real enjoyment looking and appreciating this image. I especially like the spider web threads all over the flower. It gives lot of character to the image. Thanks for sharing.
