La mariposa del monarca es el rey del mundo del insecto. Aunque son criaturas pequeñas, hacen cosas fenomenales. Primero, se convierten de los huevos minúsculos, a una oruga, se convierten en un chrysalis, y finalmente transforman en una mariposa hermosa. Emigran, las grandes distancias que viajan al invierno excesivo en un clima templado. Asombroso bastante, no una mariposa hace el viaje ida-vuelta entero. Las mariposas del invierno son inactivas y no se reproducen. En resorte vuelven a los hogares del verano y crían a lo largo de la manera. Su vuelta del descendiente al punto de partida.

El plexippus de Danaus es el nombre científico para la mariposa del monarca. Las especies relacionadas en la familia se encuentran en todos los continentes excepto las regiones polares, dondequiera que milkweed y relacionaron las plantas se encuentran. También provee del monarca una forma intrigante de protección, puesto que milkweed los jugos asimilados por el monarca hacen venenoso a los pájaros rapaces. El color anaranjado hermoso de la mariposa del monarca sirve para enseñar a depredadores que su comida prevista pudo ser tóxica. No todos los milkweeds producen los glucósidos cardiacos, por lo tanto no todos los monarcas son venenosos. Sin embargo, el color anaranjado amonestador sirve para disfrazar venenoso del monarca no tóxico.

Belo inseto, bela foto.

Parece que o sol estava quente.
