Great capture Francisco. Plenty of details in the butterfly, Well blurred background to set the butterfly off nicely, the colours look great and natural and the composition/cropping is very good. All over a very nice picture to look at. - Well done.

Sorry, but I have had no luck trying to identify the species. It looks very much like the Fiery Skipper Hylephila phyleus of the Southern USA, but there are some significant differences also. There seem to be very few online resources for South American butterflies. Another very nice photograph, with good lighting and excellent DOF.

It's amazing how the skippers living on different continents are similar to each other. We have very much alike Hesperidae in Europe. Anyway a great capture. Fantastic light.
