[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Paepalanthus - This is a member of the family Eriocaulaceae (no relationship with Bromeliads), typical from rupestris fields of tropical mountains (brazilian savannah). It lives on shallow white sand (not beach sand, it doesn´t stand salt) and rocks. This group of plants is related to the bromeliads, and is built on a similar scheme as the carnivores - that is, leaves are arranged in a basal rosette around a central cistern.
The branches of flowers you can see here are from only two individuals.

Oi, Helcio, como parece, está divulgando bem a Serra do Cipó.. lugar que não conheço mas que tenho obsessão por conhecer..
Sinto falta de definição em algum ponto... mas é normal com automáticas.
