Added after Claudine's critique: I really don't know what the white spot is...
_____
I seldom post spiders. Actually, I think I've posted just one so far.
It was a very hot morning when I took this photo.
It was my intention to go back to the place in order to take more photos of this fellow, but I couldn't.
If somebody out there knows how to indentify it, since now, thanks a lot. |

Hello Livio,
This is very interesting. It seems that orange might be a dominant color in your environment :) What is this white spot in the middle? Is it a prey or a part of the spider, I just can't tell... I like this composition and color a lot. Thanks!
Claudine

Hello Livio,
Cool macro work. Love the yellow/orange color everywhere. Well-focused with good depth of field to show the web. Was it possible to get closer? Regards,
Hakan
Very nice crisp image, with a great exposure.
Well that looks like food all wrapped up and ready to store away and cosume at a later time. :)
The white spot notwithstanding, I like the shape of the spider's abdomen and the colours on it.
The liberal space around the subject interspersed with the silken threads of the web makes it a lovely composition.
TFS and take care.

Hi Livo,
Great shot! The white spot is some creature that has been wrapped up in the silk webbing to be consumed soon. The colors and detail look great. That OOF backround really looks great.

Hi Livio
This is another wonderful photo from you!
The composition here is splendid and very delicate, with a careful off-cenered positioning of the subject and a great clearance between it and the BG.
I think that the while "spot" in the center is the prey of the spider, nicely wrapped around some good layer of its "silk" :))
The details are again terrific and very sharp and the colors are cahrming and very well saturated.
Bravo and TFS
