Here a caiman swimmming in a big lake inside the wetland Pantanal in Brazil...
Pantanal is a fantastic place to visite if you enjoy to see animals in there natural surrondings... When I visitet in septenmer 2004, there was not soo much water but a lot of animals like this caiman, hundreds of bird-spises, monkies, butterflies, capivare, anakonda-snakes, turtles and a lot more... I can only recomend this as the best place I have ever visitet... Go there if you can... |

Great capture Ina and very interesting pov. If you look at the head alone the croc looks very mean. I have been looking at this for some time and I still cann't figure what it is in the top of the picture - it dos not look like the croc's tail but I am not an expert. DOF is very good as well as the crop/composition.
Wonderful face-to-face view. The tail breeching the water is a testiment of this reptiles size - big, as do those teeth. Well done. Nicely composed.
