Rio Urubu, este tramo del rio se encuentra a 200 km al noedeste de Manaus y ahi se desevuelven varias agencias de viajes, sus actividades son rutas por la selva, focagem de jacares por la noche y pesca de piranhas entre otras actividades.En la epoca de las lluvias se inundan muchas zonas formando igarapés (bosque inundado), transformando asi el agua acida a consecuencia de los restos de hojas , troncos y aceites vegetales, al ser agua acida no hay mosquitos.

The reflection for the sky and trees in the lake make this picture. If you turned the picture upside down, it would be very difficult to notice the correct shot. Good one CK
