[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the same Trogon as I showed yesterday in front.

The Blue-crowned Trogon (Trogon curucui) is a species of bird in the Trogonidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
Range in South America, Amazon Basin
The Blue-crowned Trogon's range in South America is the southwestern and southeastern quadrants of the Amazon Basin with the northern limit being the Amazon River. The range continues beyond the Amazon Basin south to northern Argentina and Paraguay, and eastwards to eastern coastal Brazil as far south as northern Espírito Santo state; a third of the species range is outside the Amazon Basin.

25 cm. Male with blue head and breast, back green, red belly (lighter in female), white underside of tail barred black. Female gray on head and breast, with more black on tail.

Hello Peter,
You are bringing back some fantastic shots from Brazil!
Did you go with a tour or on your own? to the Pantanal?
That is a very handsome trogon.
We saw some trogons in Costa Rica. They have such distinctive tails.
You really caught this one in a good pose and with some vivid colors.
TFS. : )

Hello Peter

Just marking the post for now

Rob

Hi Peter,
Lovely, and very colourful species presented in natural pose. One of my favourite elements of this picture is contrast between bird and delicate, blurred BG - thanks to this the main object is really perfectly exposed. Bravo also for the note - it is not very long but still has interesting information :)
TFS and nest regards from Lodz,
Radomir
