The Tanagers are so beautiful and so varied in colours. This one must be the most colourful of them all? Brilliant capture, very sharp and I like its pose on the branch. Fine neutral background too.

Ha Peter,
die kleuren zijn bijna te. Ik heb iets vergelijkbaars gezien in Venezuela. Als je ziet bewegen, geloof je niet dat er van deze gekleurde vogels zijn.
Mooie pose van de vogel, waarbij de kleuren allemaal goed uitkomen. Er zit wat ruis in de achtergrond, maar dat is een kwestie van wat ruisonderdrukken.

Wow what a bird this Tangara ! It seems, Peter, that a child painted it with Crayolas ! :-) Very sharp image, well composed and the exposure is just perfect. Good eye contact and lovely background. Thanks again !

what a splendid shot of this lovely and colorful Green-headed Tanager. I really like all those vivid colors on his plumage and and also the nice pose you captured it in.
The DOF here is great and it also gave you a charming and blurry BG, to isolate your subject perfectly.
Good composition and exposure, too.
