A look at a part of the Falls on the Brazilian side.

The waterfall system consists of about 270 falls along 2.7 kilometres of the Iguazu River. Some of the individual falls are up to 82 metres in height, though the majority are about 64 metres.
It marks the border between Argentina and Brazil. Most of the falls are within Argentine territory.
The water of the lower Iguazu collects in a canyon that drains into the Rio Parana.
The falls are shared by the Iguazú National Park (Argentina) and Iguaçu National Park (Brazil). These parks were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1984 and 1986, respectively.
Upon seeing Iguaçu, First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt reportedly exclaimed "Poor Niagara!" Vastly larger than North America's Niagara Falls, Iguaçu is rivalled only by Southern Africa's Victoria Falls which separates Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Hi Peter

Excellent exposure and detail on a difficult view (I have visited twice). The composition is really good and I like the colour too.

It looks like heaven to me Peter. The tall trees in the fore give it some nice perspective and with the appearance of flowing water..it is a gem...Eleanor Roosevelt spoke truth and she was a women who spoke her mind without regard to anything political..she said what she said and meant to say it..!

Hi Peter,

Amazing shot here. I like the way you frame the falls...with the trees in the foreground it gives a beautiful 3d dimension. Very well done Peter!

That is the place I'm going to imagine being....I always like to have a retreat in my mind and this is perfect. How very beautiful!
Wonderful done...gorgeous! The composition is very interesting with the three trees in the foreground. Lovely!

Hello Peter,
