Even with almost no time for camera regulation, the "swimming headless swan" looks interesting, also due to the water reflection. What is your improvement comment? Margit

Hi Margit,
an intresting post of this mute swan preening its self, as you say the reflection is good. Where it falls down is the over exposure of the back and wing tip.To avoid this I would of tried using single point light metering mode and read the light of the back area. This would of given you a dark image but one with all the details that it would be possible to lighten in your image editor, I hope this is of help.

This next bit is more for those who keep reporting this image as having a problem, I can find no problem with it, and if you wish to contact me directly with your reasons you are welcome to do so.

What an interesting image Margit! It certainly does look as though this swan's head is missing. I might have cropped it a bit tighter, but either way a wonderful posting, thank you for sharing it with us.
