| My partner Renata swims close to a big Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia Mydas) at the coast of Arraial do Cabo. There are 7 species of sea turtles, among which 5 can be found in Brazil, and the Green sea turtle is the most usually found. On that day, however, there was a very large number of them, feeding in the coral reefs. This one was the largest (circa 1.2m from head to tail) and did not ran away when we approximate, allowing several pictures. Unfortunately the water transparency was not as good as it normally is, but we got very satisfied from the diving. |
