your picture shows the brilliantly coloured and extravagantly shaped
butterfly Marpesia petreus from the family Nymphalidae.

Very brilliant colour on this Marpesia, contrasting strongly with the background. I wonder of maybe the orange is just a little too saturated. Was the butterfly really this deep colour in real life? Good composition and POV. Thanks.
