Cattleya warneri, classified in 1862, by T. Moore.
Is one more beautiful Brazilian unifoliate Cattleyas.
Occurs at Southeast, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo states and also in Bahia state. Plants like humidity from rivers as "Rio Doce". Grow at altitude from 200 until 300 m.

Wonderful shot of this beautiful orchid with lovely colours and sharp details. I like its shape and the way it pops out from the vegetation. Superb lighting and exposure levels. Excellent DOF, POV and composition. Kudos.
