| This is a green-backed-heron, Butorides striatus or Socozinho in Brazil. Not very common in my region, I captured in one of the parks of my town Curitiba. I really enjoy to have a new fellow to increase my local bird image collection! This little Heron is worldwide found! |

excellent shot of the green-backed-heron on his hunting position,
fine POV, DOF and framing, i love that the heron and the foreground
of the image are in the highlights while the background is in the shadows,
sharpness and details are excellent, TFS
