Pelicano Branco

In the symbology, the pelican is symbol of the self-sacrificing and the universal charity… It counts a medieval legend, that the pelican feeds its younglings with the proper blood… The alchemists of this period considered it as image of the philosophical rock… Although she is found in bigger number in the Nakuru Lake (44,000 birds in January of 1992), they only make their nest in the Elementaita Lake, also in the Kenya.

Embora seja encontrado em maior número no Lago Nakuru (44.000 aves em janeiro de 1992), eles somente nidificam no Lago Elementaita, também no Quênia.

Estou contente por ver algo novo na sua TN! ... absolutamente um belo pássaro. Noto uma ligeira (muito ligeira) sobre a exposição a parte traseira das asas, no entanto, o tecido ainda é percebida plumagem, e que dá ao pássaro uma aparência imponente. Muito bom trabalho, penso que o brilho do momento foi um pouco complexa. Você esta muito bem tratado. Cumprimentos e felicidades.

beautiful close-up photo of the white pelican
with fine low POV, excellent sharpness and details,
there is parts where on the whites it is overburned
but in general you obtained good details
of the white plumage, TFS

Thank you for your notes; I learned some things I didn't know! The sharpness is astounding and I love the ripples in the water; it gives fluidity to the image. The edge of the feathers remind me of fingertips. All in all, a wonderful image with excellent notes. I look forward to seeing more of your work!
