Dryas iulia occurs from south United States to north Argentina.

Size.
Wingspan of about 9 cm.

Flight.
Fast.

Similar species.
Dione juno, Eueides aliphera.

Approach.
With or without approximation this specimen spent few seconds on each flower.

Conditions.
Strong sunlight but i made a shadow with my body, moderate wind, no flash, no tripod.

Hi Paulo. Your top POV is just perfect . WE can see the larg wings with their markings. Taken wit hfine detail and rich colours. The orange and black stand out from the plain OOF BG. WEll taken TFS.

This butterfly presentation is really outstanding. Very well composed in a very special way.
I like the blurry soft background that allows the whole view of the butterfly to bee seen in its prettiness and sharp details.
The positioning in the frame is very exciting too.
