[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have missed TN a lot, and now I'm finally back. After 4 years I was able to go to Brazil for a very nice stay that really recharged my batteries. I missed posting and commenting, I missed TN, and now I'm finally back.
I visited my grandmother's farm and saw so many wild life like this Red-legged Seriema, I'll be posting more pictures from my travel to Brazil.

Red-legged Seriema (Cariama cristata)

Note:

The Red-legged Seriema inhabits grasslands from Brazil south of the Amazon to Uruguay and northern Argentina. The area over which it occurs is estimated at 5.9 million km², though the bird is not found everywhere in this region of course. The species is absent from the Mata Atlântica and planalto uplands along the coast of Brazil

Hi Everton,
Welcome back....even I came back a few days back....slowly the excitement is building and so nice to see friends coming back. This is a wonderful shot of the Red-legged Seriema in its natural habitat. Very neat and sharp image with perfect light and DOF. Excellent composition. Kudos.

A great surprise to see you back. I'm very glad that a few other old friends came back these days. Welcome!!!
Beautiful photo of this Red-legged Seriema in it's natural environment. Good sharpness, details and POV. Maybe a little bit extra contrast or saturation in the bird is possible. Very good composition.
Hope to see a lot more from one of my favorite countries, Brazil.

What a strange looking bird, I havn't seen anything like it before. Must be a first on TN I think. The background is a bit busy, but TFS anyway.
