I have never seen a woodpecker with yellow face.
This one is a beauty. It looks like you got to go up real close. Great shot with sharp details and good light. Excellent POV. Wish I could see the tail. Great job and TFS. : )

P.S. Hey, I spotted an armadillo a couple of hours ago here. I tried to get a shot of it, going after it in my shorts through the thorny brush. I came back with a shot but scratched the heck out of my legs in the process..That was fun ;-}

Hi Livio, this is a very attractive looking bird. JUst needs a bit of green and blue and he's in the national colours. Lovely details, very well done.

I have a real love for foreign countries, cultures, and languages. Something I have not been able to develop to the extent I would like...:( Oh well, we can't have everything, and it is nice to be content with what we do have...;)
I love the yellow coloring on this one! I never knew till now.
