Hola José Vladimir: Some days ago me to see this insect extract the nectar of a lemon flower, it is interesting the camouflage mechanism and the speed that this insect to have, I could not capture their movement, not even to give me time to make click, this to appear and to disappear very quickly, I remember the you line horizontal in white and black in their abdomen, but not to be able to see but, me not to perceive that it was a moth, I am surprised by the color of their eyes. Thank you to share this very interesting image with us, without a doubt an insect super speedy. The illumination is good, well worked, the form of the flower is splendid in coloring to harmonize the composition. Saudações sinceras. *Ninfa Urania*
This is a gorgeous image, beautifully exposed and composed and sharp as a pin.
Hi Jose,
congratulations for that very telling documentary picture of a species and its typical habit. Technically perfect, sharp, well composed, with beautiful rich colours. I love to see the hawkmoth approaching, the position of its wings, the proboscis in the stage of getting unrolled.
Your picture really tells of a hot night with a lot of smells and buzzing creatures around. And the huge flowers add to the tropical splendour. Great shot!
Best regards,
Peter
