Esse estranho bichinho apareceu numa planta aqui do jardim da minha casa, e deu um grande susto em todos pois nunca tinhamos visto inseto assim. Olhe que camoflagem perfeita, é incrível, a natureza é maravilhosa!!! Fico feliz de viver num ligar lindo como o BRASIL, com seus problemas, mas é o lugar que vivo e que amo viver!!!
Se puderem me ajudem com o nome!!!

Muito bonita essa foto Francisco.

Se eu não me engano esse inseto é um louva-deus. Pode-se observar as pernas dianteiras retráteis para captura de alimento. E mesmo com a cabeça um pouco tapada pela perna dianteira, observa-se que é bem característica de um louva-deus. Esses instos possuem uma camuflagem excepcional (como podemos ver nessa foto) para melhor capturar seu alimento e passar dispercebido pelos predadores.

I know I would have been very scared to find this in my house too Francisco. What incredible camouflage it has, it looks so much like a dead leaf!
