Hi Jose
This is an excellent shot of this moth (sorry, I can not help with the ID), but it is unfortunately spoiled somewhat by the very bright and over exposed white spot on the right. It first draws the attention of the eye before one actually looks at the moth. Maybe you could have tried to do something about it on PP as it is pretty much isolated. The rest of the BG is stunning.
Anyway, the moth itself is very well captured in a beautiful composition, lovely colours, spot-on DOF, and perfect exposure.
Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi Jose,

pretty, well composed picture with very good details on the skipper, but some parts of the BG and also the lanata a bit overexposed.

ID:
probably the Long-tailed Skipper Urbanus proteus [Linnaeus],

but there are a number of similar species -
please have a look yourself:

Thanks, and best regards,

Hi Jose,

It can be a Skipper/Gaint Red Eye. The problem is skippers look so similar to both butterfly and moths, it is diddficult to identify them sometimes.
Great Picture. i have isoloated the fella to avoid the bright BG and adjusted levels and sharpness,Workshop posted
