[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I captured this web spider out of the web for a while...I am still looking for the right identification for it. I loved the colours and the shape of its abdomen.

OK friends, I am reposting it in the right position. I assume that I am just an amateur, but I really felt like a dummy posting the poor spider in the wrong position...SORRY! Do not do things when in hurry!

Something about it:

THANKS TO Monika! that helps me find out that the spider is an Argiope argentata.

Orbweavers place a conspicuous zigzagging white silk banner in their webs called the "stabilimentum" which can be used to identify the species. The function of the stabilimentum is not fully understood. Hypotheses are: that it stabilizes the web, or makes it more apparent to birds which will thus not fly into and wreck it, or it reflects light to attract insect prey, or perhaps most likely helps to camouflage the spider in the web.

Hello Fabiano,
I'm glad I could help and I think it's very good that you decided to repost the picture. It is much more pleasant to look at it now.
I really like the colours here and a blue sky is something I always love in macro shots. This is a superb shot!
VERY WELL DONE!

Hola Fabiano,

What a strange spidern Fabiano. I have never seen it before. Colors, details, composition and POV are excellent, and I love the orange and white pattern's on the spider's abdomen. Very well done !
