Popular Name: Sanharó, Irapuá, arapuá Scientific Name: Trigona spinipes
Family: Meliponídeos
Its nests are aerial, of oval format, supported in pitchforks of trees. It is aggressive species being able to mainly attack other bees without sting in the flowers.
